Frisidea works before and beyond the point at which an idea becomes a business.
Observe
Markets rarely announce when they are ready to change. We look for shifts in technology, behaviour and economics that may create room for something new, and pay closest attention where the incumbent response has become visibly inadequate.
Test
An idea earns further attention only when the underlying argument survives scrutiny. Real demand, real constraints, real economics, and a genuine willingness to abandon a thesis the studio has grown fond of.
Build
Product, technology and operating foundations are developed together. The aim is not simply to launch, but to establish whether a durable business can exist here at all.
Commit
Where conviction grows, Frisidea may continue as builder, operator, shareholder or early-stage backer. Involvement is long-dated by design, which occasionally means holding a position longer than a fund structure would permit.
Thesis-led, not programmatic.
Frisidea does not operate fixed cohorts or a public accelerator programme. Engagement is selective.
Work begins with a thesis the studio has decided is worth testing, or with an entrepreneur whose reading of a market it wants to be close to. There is no intake calendar, because the work does not start with an intake.
