We combine venture creation, operating experience and selective early-stage backing to turn a small number of those ideas into companies.
Most do not get that far. An argument that cannot survive a serious attempt at disproof is not one worth committing a decade to, and establishing that early is considerably cheaper for everyone than establishing it late.
The name Frisidea carries freshness at its core: a standing reminder to look at a familiar problem differently before accepting the frame it arrived in.

Frisidea is run by operators rather than administered by a committee. The people who decide what to build are the people who build it, which keeps the distance between an argument and a working product short enough to learn from.
The studio stays small deliberately. A studio that grows past the point where everyone knows what everyone else is doing begins producing companies to justify its own capacity, which is the failure this model is most prone to.
